Fourth Graders at
Ironwood's Norrie School receive instructions from Range Master
Gardeners on plantings seeds in
their classroom . This year the students planted Boy O' Boy,
Harlequin and Cracker Jack Marigolds. With guidance from Master Gardeners the
seedlings will be transplanted to Norrie Park. This year students will
be experimenting with different lighting conditions in he classroom and
will keep a journal on the results of natural lighting versus the results
of grow light lamps. The Norrie School project will be expanded this year
to include planting trees and shrubs along with the flowers in Norrie
Park.
